I can't believe that summer is almost over and we are already talking about back to school. Even though this is probably the best time of the year for us stationery enthusiasts to find those cheap supplies with all the sales everywhere, I still wanted to save some more and create something unique.
This project was created as a gift for my daughter who is becoming a teacher soon. It was made out of recyclable items that you would normally trash: Cans and boxes.
Just using pretty scrapbook paper that you can find on sale at 7 for $1.00 you get a beautiful desktop organizer.
For the cans I spray painted the inside just to make them all equal. The box got a coat of black paint.
After that I just used stickers and added paper to my box and cans.
I liked the idea so much that I altered an old clipboard that I had.
I personalized everything with my Silhoutte as a special touch.
This a very cheap and beautiful storage solution for your desk or as gift to a teacher.
Have a wonderful school year.
